Weird. Within 2 months, i lost

• my MP3 player
• A pen dad gave me that costs RM45
• 2 literature text books sis passed on to me
• my scientific calculator

I can explain about the MP3 player. It was clearly stolen.

But the pen… i have absolutely no idea. I mean, i seldom use that pen. Kept it at home. And at one time my desk/room was so messy i just chuck everything on the desk. Probably that’s when i didn’t notice it and it just slips… into where? I remember dad borrowing that pen from me not long before i sudddenly feel like using it and couldn’t find it. I still don’t dare tell dad about this. Maybe it’ll show up when i least expect to find it, like things always do when i was a kid.

The 2 literature text books are even weirder. Obviously no one would steal textbooks. What’s more i never had the chance to bring them to school. So it must be at home. I confirmed with sis that she did gave me the books. But somehow, it’s just gone. I look everywhere i could think of. I’ve got to buy those 2 books now. Hopefully they won’t turn up after i bought new ones.

By the way, last year? Sis gave me a whole set of her Form 4 books and they all went poof! Gone as well. Nowhere to be found when i was going to start school. Mum had no recollection of it and me, i sorta vaguely remember hauling the whole stack of books back home. Just how can a whole set of books just vanish like that?!? This makes no sense at all. Sis definitely gave me those books because she no longer has them.

And last but not least, my precious scientific calculator that’s been with me since Form2. I thought i took it out before the long-term end-of-the-year school holiday 2005 started. Coz the last few days in school, the teachers don’t teach anymore and there’s no use bringing it to school. So the calculator should be at home, right? I search high and low for it. Nada. Now i have to pay for a new one myself. Dad says i’m irresponsible, that it’s my fault not taking good care of it. So i’m going to have to literally pay for my new one.

What the hell is going on? you think i might have some kind of illness or something? Selective amnesia, where i don’t clearly remember sis giving me the set of textbooks? I dunno. At this point, i’m desperate. (>_<)

Oh, and applying Adam Khoo’s Ultimate Success Formula. My goal is to successfully find my pen, books and scientific calculator. My strategy was to find it using the traditional way, going through my closet, bookshelf, everywhere and looking from one spot to another. I didn’t accomplish my goal, but gained learning experiences, that that way doesn’t work. Now i have to change my strategy and then take action again. But the thing is, what’s the right strategy to find a thing? I need to Do It Now, Do It Right, Do It Fast.
